In February 2014, the City of Oshawa approved its first Cultural Plan: Culture Counts – Oshawa’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Plan. The Strategy to "Increase Community Awareness and Promotion of Cultural Resources" contained the action to create and launch an interactive map and searchable database.
The City of Oshawa Cultural Map is an evolving tool that illustrates where cultural organizations are located, and what activities, programs and events take place in the community.
The map is interactive – cultural and creative organizations can add their listing to the map and visitors can search and browse for cultural groups, creative industries, events and more.
Listings and information on the Cultural Map are from City of Oshawa records, InfoCanada, Census data, individual submissions and other data providers.
The first phase of the Cultural Map includes listings for:
Discover Oshawa and embark on a new cultural adventure by starting here!

If your organization or event is not included or has changed its contact information, location, website or any other detail – please connect with us!
